Traffic on I-70 was slowed for nearly two hours after a tractor trailer and rental truck collision.

The accident occurred on the eastbound lanes of I-70 as a rental truck pulled a trailer with a Jeep on it. The rental truck entered the highway and was struck by a tanker.

The impact caused the rental truck to go into the median. The Jeep that was riding on the trailer was knocked off and rolled multiple times before coming to a stop. The trailer remained stuck underneath the semi-truck and the rental truck was pushed into the emergency lane. The driver of the semi-trailer complained of minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.
