Two Fairbury teens killed in car accident

Two Fairbury teens were killed in a car accident while vacationing with their family in Oklahoma.

The accident occurred when the family was riding in a motor home driven by a 70-year-old man when the home went off of the side of the road and hit four concrete pillars.

The driver was trapped in the car for 45 minutes until emergency crews freed him. He and his wife along with two others were transported to the hospital,  but are in stable condition. A 16-year-old girl and her 13-year-old brother were killed in the accident.

Car accidents can happen when least expected, our thoughts and condolences are with the friends and family of the victim.
