Aaron M. Bryant, a Danville resident, was involved in a fatal car accident on Monday afternoon. The collision also injured an Indiana resident, who was taken to a nearby hospital.
Bryant is reported to have been traveling eastbound on East Voorhees Street around 1:30 p.m. when his vehicle veered into oncoming traffic, hitting a pickup truck. According to Vermilion County Coroner Peggy Johnson, at 1:39 p.m. Bryant was declared dead at the scene.
Bryant’s autopsy is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 15th.
The name of the injured Indiana man was not immediately released by authorities. No other individuals were harmed in this incident, and reports say that both Bryant and the Indiana resident were the only people in each vehicle.
