The jury in a slip and fall lawsuit reached a settlement of $7.5 million. The lawsuit was brought against Starbucks.

The prosecutor in the case was a customer in a San Diego Starbucks when he experienced head injuries as a result of falling on slick floor. The manager at the store had washed the floor surrounding the pick-up counter just minutes prior to the slip and fall accident.

The man was unable to return to work as a chiropractor due to the injuries he sustained. He sued Starbucks for loss of income as well as other damages. The jury sided with the customer in this case and reached a verdict of $7.5 million.
