Three college women injured in pedestrian hit-and-run accident

Three college women were injured after a hit-and-run accident occurred Tuesday morning near the college campus.

According to the police lieutenant, the car accident occurred just after 10:30 a.m. near the corner of Lincoln Avenue and Ohio Street as the women were walking across the street.

The car that hit the women then fled the scene, but police were able to stop the car 10 minutes later when they spotted a car that matched the description. The driver was then taken back the scene by police officials. The three women seemed to suffer non-life threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
