Two girls injured in Kankakee minibike accident
Two girls, ages 11 and 12, were injured Friday night when a car struck the minibike they were riding.
According to police officials, the girls were riding the minibike in Kankakee when they were struck by a Kia Elantra that was traveling in the same direction.
After the collision, the 12-year-old girl who was driving the minibike was transported to Riverside Medical Center to be treated, and her 11-year-old passenger was taken to Provena St. Mary’s Hospital.
