Illinois company issues recall of 72K pounds of chicken salad

An Illinois manufacturing company has issued the recall of over 72,000 pounds of Bumble Bee chicken salad after customers complained of finding hard plastic pieces in the food.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service, the Suter Company, which is based in Sycamore, Ill., has recalled the “Bumble Bee Lunch on the Run Chicken Salad Complete Lunch Kit” and the “Bumble Bee Chicken Salad with Crackers.”

These products were distributed and sold to retail stores nationwide. A statement from the company said that they appreciate everyone’s cooperation in returning the product.
