Motorcycle-car collision results in motorcyclist injuries

Last week, a collision between a passenger car and a motorcycle resulted in the motorcyclist being sent to a local hospital to receive treatment for injuries sustained in the crash, according to the News-Gazette.

According to Sgt. Brian Maloney, the crash occurred around 1:30 pm on Friday, June 5, when a westbound motorcyclist crashed into the passenger side of a vehicle that was attempting to turn north after traveling eastbound on Bradley near Willis Avenue in Champaign.

Emergency personnel responded to the accident scene and took the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital. According to Sgt. Maloney, officials are still investigating the accident and so far have not issued any tickets for the incident.
